However, the methods for getting the right Eeveelution vary, including using certain names (or nicknames for the Eevee evolutions name trick). Eevee evolves using 25 Eevee candy, but if you don’t use any special tricks, the evolution you get will be random. For those looking for specific Pokémon, there are several things you can do. Players who are just looking for one of each evolution can use a simple naming trick. Eevee evolutions names, nicknames, and name trick To get a specific evolution, you can name your Eevee one of the following names, and it will evolve into the corresponding variant, guaranteed. Note: This naming trick only works once per evolution. If you already used “Sparky” to get a Jolteon, it will not guarantee that you get a Jolteon next time. While some of the Eevee evolutions are completely random, some of them require specific actions while the Pokémon is your buddy or Lure Modules.
